Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Trauma Reunion

Gerald, Sanyu and I at Children’s Hospital L.A.

Every weekend Gerald and I try to do something fun with Sanyu. Last week my girlfriend Lenee invited us to come to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for an event. The hospital was having a trauma reunion for their patients and families. It was awesome hearing the stories of the different families and how they made it when the worse happened.

The reunion featured a number of activities for the children including arts & crafts, games and the chance to win prizes. Every child left Saturday afternoon with a smile on their face. These children and their families experienced all kinds of traumatic experiences. We must always count our blessings and hold those dear to us close to our hearts.
